What size box do I need for my cake?

Size the box to your cake board, not the cake, and allow about half an inch of clearance plus a quarter inch above the tallest decoration. Our size calculator works it out for you.

Can I get samples before I buy?

Yes, free. Tell us what you make and we will post samples of the boxes we think fit. Handling the board answers more than any spec sheet. Request a sample kit.

Is kraft stronger than white?

No. Strength comes from board weight, not colour. At the same 300 gsm they perform almost identically — the choice is aesthetic. See kraft vs white.

How much is shipping?

Free over $99. Below that, live carrier rates are calculated at checkout — boxes are bulky and we would rather show you the real number than bury it in the price. Full detail on shipping and returns.

Are they food safe and recyclable?

All our board is manufactured to food-contact standards. Plain boxes are widely recyclable and compostable; window boxes have a clear film that should be removed first. Documentation available on request.

Do you print custom boxes?

Yes, to your artwork, and we stock a single-colour printed cookie box if you want a branded look without a full custom run. Ask for artwork specs and minimums.

We make the boxes we sell

Tennessee IMPEX is a manufacturer and importer, not a reseller. Our boxes are produced in our own facility and shipped directly to Tennessee, which means when you buy a case from us you are one step from the press — not paying a distributor's margin stacked on top of ours.

It also means we control the specification. Every box in our range runs 300 gsm board, because the single most common complaint about imported bakery packaging is that it is flimsy, and that is a problem you solve at the mill rather than in the marketing.
