What size box do I need for my cake?

Size the box to your cake board, not the cake, and allow about half an inch of total clearance plus a quarter inch of headroom above the tallest decoration. Our size guide and calculator works it out for you.

What is gsm and why do you keep mentioning 300?

Grams per square metre — the weight of the board. It is the single best proxy for how sturdy a box is. A lot of imported bakery packaging runs 200 to 250 gsm to hit a price point, which is where flimsiness complaints come from. Everything we make is 300 gsm.

Is kraft stronger than white?

No. Strength comes from board weight, not colour. At the same gsm they perform almost identically. The choice is aesthetic — see kraft vs white.

Are your boxes food safe?

Yes. All our board is manufactured to food-contact standards for direct contact with baked goods. If you need documentation for a health inspector, email us and we will send it.

Are they PFAS free?

PFAS has historically been used as a grease-resistant treatment, so it is most relevant to fried-food packaging rather than dry cake boxes. Several states now ban intentionally added PFAS in food packaging. We are documenting current status across our range — email us and we will tell you exactly what we hold for the specific product you are buying, rather than give you a blanket claim.

Do the boxes come assembled?

No, they ship flat, which is what makes them affordable to ship and sensible to store. They fold up in seconds with a lock-corner tuck top — no tape or glue needed.

Is the window really attached properly?

Yes. Our windows are fitted at the point of manufacture rather than glued in as a secondary step, which is why they do not lift at the corners or drop into the cake. This is one of the most common complaints about cheap window boxes and one of the main reasons customers switch to us.

Will my cupcakes fit the insert?

The cavities take standard US cupcakes in regular-size liners, with clearance for a generous piped swirl. Jumbo and Texas-size cupcakes will not fit. The insert is removable if you want to use the box for something else.

Can I recycle or compost them?

Plain boxes without a window are paperboard and are widely recyclable and compostable. Window boxes have a clear film that should be removed before recycling the board.

Ordering

Can I get samples before I buy?

Yes, and we would rather you did. Tell us which boxes you are considering and we will send samples at no cost. Handling the board answers more than any spec sheet. Request a sample kit.

Do you offer wholesale or case pricing?

Yes. The packs on the shop pages are for small and mid-size orders. If you go through boxes weekly you should be buying by the case or pallet, where the per-box price drops substantially. Request a quote.

What is the minimum order?

There is no minimum online — buy a single 25-pack if that is what you need. Wholesale quotes start at case quantity.

Do you print custom boxes?

Yes, to your artwork. We also stock a single-colour printed cookie box if you want a branded look without a custom run. Ask for artwork specs and minimums.

How much is shipping?

Free over $99. Below that, live carrier rates are calculated at checkout. Full detail on shipping and returns.

Can I return boxes if I order the wrong size?

Unopened packs, within 30 days. Opened packs we cannot take back, as they are food-contact goods. This is exactly why we push samples so hard. See returns.

About us

Where are your boxes made?

In our own facility in Pakistan, and imported directly by us into Tennessee. We are the manufacturer and the importer, not a reseller buying from a middleman.

Why do you keep saying not made in China?

Because it has become a price story, not just an origin story. Chinese-made paperboard packaging currently carries roughly 35% or more in US duties. Ours enters at around 10%. That gap is why our case pricing does not lurch every quarter, and why we can quote a number that will still be good in six months.
